Vessels

MODFLEX LOGO 3

A BULK Separator is a 3 Phase vessel, typically horizontal orientation, that is meant to handle inlet streams from multiple wells. Bulk Separators tend to be placed downstream of an inlet manifold and in parallel with a test separator. Bulk Separators are sometimes called Co-mingling separators. Bulk Separators save on space and equipment costs vs. placing a test separator on each incoming well, much easier for operations to handle as it is one vessel unit versus multiples.
