TESSEL™ is our hatchless production vessel engineered to replace conventional API storage tanks in oil and gas operations. Designed for low emission storage and improved production efficiency, TESSEL™ combines the capacity of a traditional API tank with the performance of an ASME style vessel, operating at pressures up to 30 PSIG to exceed the limitations of standard API 12F and API 650 designs.
By maintaining higher operating pressure, lighter hydrocarbons remain in solution, reducing flash gas and increasing recoverable crude volumes. The sealed configuration improves vapor recovery unit performance with lower horsepower demand while reducing fugitive methane and VOC emissions. TESSEL™ enables facility optimization without major upstream equipment modifications and supports compliance with evolving environmental regulations.
Operational modeling indicates reductions in working losses of up to 98 percent and decreases in VRU horsepower requirements of approximately 30 percent.
